So, when I talk to couples of about photographing their engagement session we talk about how to incorporate their personalities and their unique relationship into the shoot. For some couples it’s props, for others it’s just giving them enough space to be themselves. In Heather and Josh’s case it was a little of both. We started with just them and what was just KILLER late afternoon light (love their expressions!). Next we moved to soccer, they both played in college and later met while Josh was coaching a team. Working in a couple of jerseys was a must! We wrapped with something completely different (for me anyway). It was a really light-hearted and fun. It played off Josh’s being a contractor and…well Heather’s unease with a tape measure and really any other building tools or supplies!
