I love my kids more than anything, they are everything and wonderful.
I love my wife which I couldn’t imagine life without her.
Enough of the mushy stuff, here’s stuff I really like:
- Photography (duh), for way too many reasons to list! I actually started to list it out but it really was to long to list here.
- French pressed coffee, it’s really evil, I am ruined, any other coffee just doesn’t compare anymore not even my beloved Starbucks.
- College football (SEC), because it’s a lot like a wedding – wrought with emotion and almost always happens on a Saturday.
- Making gumbo or any Cajun, Creole or French food.
- The beach! I am such a beach nut and thankfully my wife and all three of my kids love the ocean too, we go every chance we get.
- Really dark beer!

About Barbara
I met Mike through an on-line photography group. All I did was solicit photography education information from the group, and the next thing I knew I was whisked under Mike’s wing and was shooting away.
I love photography. I love capturing who we are today so we can remember who we were, how we’ve grown and the relationships that are so important to us (and oh, so we can brag about our beautiful spouses/children/grandparents with gorgeous wall art). And weddings are especially fun because I’m a sap. I love capturing all the joyful emotion that the day brings about, not just for the bride and groom, but for everyone that is involved. I have to be careful, though, because tears and viewfinders do not go well together.
When I am not behind the lens, I am playing with my two beautiful girls and husband, teaching kickboxing or eating something I really shouldn’t. You can see more of Barbara’s portfolio here.
